AURORA, IL – Students of all grade levels have the opportunity to learn about the world of media in Waubonsie Valley’s Media Communication and Production course.
Students who register for the year-long class will get the chance to use professional grade cameras and computer editors to create a wide variety of projects, such as commercials, short films, news stories and music videos.
This dual-credit course, in conjunction with the College of DuPage, is a survey of Mass Media designed to provide students an introduction to the various forms of electronic media, such as radio, television, film and online media. Students will also develop media literacy and the skills necessary to create productions in a changing media environment.
Classroom work is exhibited on the school’s Web site, YouTube Channel and its weekly video news magazine, Warrior Update.
